Built by Moulay Ismail, Meknes was envisioned as the “Versailles of Morocco” and offers a fascinating glimpse into the country’s royal past.

After breakfast, begin your guided tour of Fez, the kingdom’s former capital until 1912. Today’s visit focuses on exploring the medina of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your local guide will take you through its key highlights, including Bou-Inania and Attarin Medersas, the tanneries, Ess-Seffarine Square, Moulay Idriss’ tomb, Nejjarine Square, the cabinet makers’ souk, and the historic Jewish quarter, Mellah.

After breakfast, your local guide and driver will meet you to begin a guided tour of the vibrant “Ochre City.” Start your morning at the Majorelle Garden, a masterpiece created by French painter Jacques Majorelle, who poured his passion into this stunning garden.

Next, visit Menara, whose name means “lighthouse” in Arabic, though it is actually a pavilion surrounded by a serene basin and orchards of olive trees. Continue to the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and explore the historic Jewish quarter, Mellah.
