Moroccans are globally recognized for their open-mindedness and welcoming nature; yet, it is courteous to seek consent before capturing images of individuals, particularly women, as well as establishments or merchandise. Taking photos is not allowed near military installations, airports, reservoirs, and viaducts. Should you be in a restricted photography zone, you will undoubtedly encounter explicit signage to alert you.

The exact number of participants can't be guaranteed. Typically, group sizes range from 10 to 20 people. In some cases, groups may be larger, while on certain days, you might travel with only a few others—or even just your own party. During summer (the high season), groups are generally larger, and smaller in winter. Group sizes can also vary throughout the itinerary. For example, on a 10-day tour, other travelers might join for only part of the journey, such as 5 days, and then depart, resulting in different group compositions along the way.

In Morocco, churches receive equal respect as mosques. Many churches and monasteries are open to visitors and travelers, with the exception of Lent. It is recommended that visitors dress modestly when exploring Christian sites in Morocco.

Yes, a guide accompanies travelers on the bus and throughout the tour. In cases with very small groups, an experienced English-speaking driver-guide may lead the trip. For city tours, we provide licensed local professional guides.

The fixed deposit amount is 25% of the tours total price Except for Egypt Christmas tours, new years and other peak seasons where the deposit goes up to 50%.

 

Morocco is home to numerous impressive and historic mosques. Some of the most renowned include the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech, Bab Berdieyinne in Meknes, Bou Inania Madrasa in Fez, Mosque of Mulai Idris in Fez, Tangier Grand Mosque, and Sidi Bou Habib Mosque in Tangier. Visitors are invited to explore these mosques on any day except Fridays.

Yes, Memphis Tours Egypt does provide a discount for private trips booked with large groups. Some Egypt travel packages will include discount as well for repeated customers, loyalty program members and students.

 

There are no specific attire requirements for visiting a mosque in Morocco, but it is advisable to dress modestly. In certain mosques, women may be expected to cover their hair, arms, and legs. Both men and women will need to take off their shoes before entering the mosque.
