After breakfast, we will begin our full day in Istanbul with a visit to the Hagia Sophia, originally constructed by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century and later converted into a mosque by the Ottomans in the 15th century. Next, we will visit the Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Ottoman Sultan from the 15th to the 19th century, featuring an impressive treasury, exquisite harem, beautiful courtyards, and pavilions filled with vast collections of antiquities. 

Afterward, we will head to the Blue Mosque, one of the world’s most important religious structures, famous for its six minarets and celestial interior adorned with the iconic blue Iznik tiles. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The next stop is the Hippodrome, historically the scene of chariot races. Finally, we will visit the Grand Bazaar before transferring back to your hotel.

In the morning, we will continue our Istanbul tour with a visit to the Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the Spice Bazaar, which dates back to the 17th century and is located in the historic Eminönü district. Afterward, we will board a public boat for a scenic Bosphorus cruise, offering breathtaking panoramic views of iconic landmarks such as the majestic Dolmabahçe Palace, the elegant Çırağan Palace, and the impressive Rumeli Fortress, among others.

Next, we’ll explore the charming neighborhoods of Fener and Balat, with their cobblestone streets, vibrant cafés, and colorful houses that have been featured in many Turkish TV series. This area is steeped in history, offering a glimpse into traditional Turkish life.

We will visit the stunning Bulgarian Orthodox Church of St. Stephen, made entirely of cast iron, and also explore the Church of the Orthodox Patriarchate in the Balat district.

Our day will conclude at the famous Pierre Loti Café, a beloved spot for the French writer Pierre Loti, offering spectacular views of the Golden Horn. We’ll then transfer you back to your hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Enjoy some free time until you are transferred to Istanbul Airport for your return flight home.
